MIROTHANE PU 5555 Clear Marine Grade Topcoat

MIROTHANE PU 5555 is a premium, two pack, clear polyurethane. High clarity results in striking grain definition and enhances the natural beauty of stained timber. It has been formulated to have superior resistance to water, general household reagents, marring and scuffing.

  • Excellent water and chemical resistance makes it ideal for demanding in-service environment  such as marine fit-outs, bench tops and bar tops
  • Very low yellowing, it is suitable for use over light coloured wood and veneers when mixed with a low yellowing MIROTHANE PU Part B Hardener
  • The full gloss version results in a brilliant high gloss finish with excellent distinction of image (DOI).
  • Available in satin, semi gloss and full gloss

  1. Suction Gun - Use 1.5 to 2mm (59-79 thou) orifice with 350-400kpa (50-55 psi).
  2. Pressure Pot - Use 1.5 to 2mm (59-79 thou) orifice with pressure pot air-cap. Gun pressure 350-400kpa (50-55 psi) and a pot pressure of 45kpa (6 psi) max.
  3. Airless Spray - Use 0.23 to 0.33mm (9-13 thou) orifice, 15cm fan (dependent on job) with regulated pump pressure of 350-400kpa (50-55 psi).
  4. Air Mix Guns - Settings similar to airless spray with the air-assisted regulator pressure at 70-90kpa (10-15psi).
  • Interior use only. Ideal for demanding environments such as bar, kitchen bench tops, bathroom vanities, interior marine fit-outs and commercial fit outs.
