| Application Issues |
| Typically sold as a three component clear sealer or white undercoat with very high build. | |
| Requires operator to mix Part A + Part B + Part C + Thinners in the correct ratio and order. Therefore increased education and skill level of applicator is required. | |

| Mirotone offers MIROPOL PE as a two pack product, however this shortens shelf life of the Part A to 3 months. | |
| Incorrect mixing of cobalt and accelerator with peroxide hardener will cause an explosive reaction. | |
|
| Very high film builds are achievable in a single coat. |

| Pot life is very short (time frame within which the coating must be used before the viscosity of the coating increases to the point where it can no longer be applied): often less than one hour. To overcome this Mirotone has MIROPOL PE 5275 Long Life Additive and MIROPOL PE 5109 High DOI white undercoat which offers an extended pot life. | |
| Coating waste will result if all catalysed coating (Part A + B + C) is not consumed within the coating's pot life. | |
| Cannot be applied over dye based stains because the peroxide hardener will bleach the stain. | |
