Its chemists have fine tuned the chemistry to develop a unique colour system comprised of various tint bases and colourants that deliver the full colour spectrum with excellent opacity. A range of specialty effects are available including metallic, pearlescent and textured finishes. Computer generated colour prediction software and state of the art spectrophotometers at key Mirotone sites and portable in-field spectrophotometers are linked to a national database of previously matched colours. This enables quick and consistent reproduction of colour. The MIROTINT Colour System’s PLC controlled dispensing equipment has been designed utilising the best features of both volume and weight dispensing, thus providing fast, accurate and consistent colour matching.
