Coating partially drying during application, leaving characteristic white "cob-web" trails being sprayed from the gun.
Cause
Preventative Action
Incorrect or too fast a thinner used to reduce the coating.
Use only the correct MIROSOL thinner as specified on the relevant product data sheet.
Under thinned product.
Thin coating to the recommended viscosity as per the instructions on the relevant product data sheet.
Coating drying too fast in hot atmospheric conditions.
Apply coatings during the cooler part of the day. Install temperature and humidity control equipment into the spray booth and drying rooms.
Incorrect spray-gun set up with too much air pressure drying the coating as it leaves the fluid tip.
Decrease air pressure. Contact you Mirotone representative for advice if the problem persists.
